So, with the JUMBLE post yesterday, and the anniversary being a good excuse to repost that Mickey Mouse strip, I decided to postpone this week's NEW strip until today!
We went to the Erie Comic Con in September and had a great show, but DID have a tricky time setting up the table. Over the years, I’ve published a LOT of different projects, and it’s always tough trying to decide what to push, what to leave home, and what to try and balance as I HATE not having one thing or another on the table. lol
Also, I am really enjoying making the logo/title panel unique for new strips. Makes these feel even more like classic, Sunday comic strips, which is how I've always viewed the format as.
Oh, that brought flashbacks. 15 years of shows and conventions, with the additional joy of moving a van’s worth (and sometimes a 15-foot truck) of glass, water, and carnivorous plants. Do you give yourself a treat when you manage to fill that tiny gap between the top boxes and the ceiling? (Honest to Elvis, I would pack my van so full that not only did I not have room for a passenger, but I had problems inhaling on the drive out. It was worth it, though, driving back nearly empty.)
