A Very Finding Dee Christmas - Part 1
Sooo, for those of you that don’t like it when I tell multi-strip stories... you are NOT gonna be happy this month. For everyone ELSE, welcome to the first strip in a 6-strip, twice-a-week series called “A Very Finding Dee Christmas”! lol
The best way to really describe this story is that it’s what I’d pitch if it were still the 80s and comic strips were getting turned into animated Holiday specials left and right. A girl can DREAM, right? ;)

Lord, even as a child, I was ALWAYS disappointed by 1970’s superheroes. Whether it was Super Friends not being allowed to actually hit anyone (the censors even considered Superman making a fist while flying “too aggressive”!) no comics villains (until Battle of the Super Friends started fighting Legion of Doom), the villains of each show never being really evil, only “misguided”, and in live action, changing Banner’s name from Bruce to “David” because Bruce was considered too fruity, and on and on.
And the network felt it had to mess with Spider-Man too, because there was never a property so wel-made that some exec didn’t want his grubby fingerprints all over it, and, and —
I’m sorry, I seem to have tapped into a long-standing well of nerd-rage.. Excuse me.
Lovely strip though!
Thank you for the memory, especially the opening panel.
