BONUS - Refresh

So, yeah. This 16-panel beast was an idea that I had as a way to chronicle what was pretty much ALL of the month of April for me, as I regularly checked and rechecked my email, waiting for the National Cartoonists Society to announce who the nominees were this year.

At the end, I GOT the nomination in my category, which is STILL mind-blowing to me, but for a solid MONTH I was in a fairly deep pit of anxiety that I HAD to chronicle in the comic. :)

And in spite of how dense this strip is, it was a LOT of fun to draw and only still took about 2 and a half hours to ink and color.
