A Holy Grail
This strip is the first in a series of 4 that will be running on Mondays and Wednesdays this week and next, FYI. As such, there is a REASON why the logo is different today, and it’s a clue as to just WHAT “Holy Grail” toy I stumbled across in ActionToyMan!
Which is, by the way, a very REAL and very AWESOME store in Erie, PA. that we love going to! They kindly gave me permission to reference them specifically for this strip, and if you’re in the area, you should totally check it out! It’s 3 stories of new and vintage toys, comics, games, and collectibles, and it’s AMAZING! (I traced a photo of the exterior for this first panel)
I already have a reason to go to Erie (an old friend is a a retired Allegheny College professor, and I haven’t been able to hang out in person in 27 years), and now I have another. Thank you.
I love this. I know that joy, although in my case it happened in my living room when I found a decently priced LEGO Castle set that wasn’t too banged up, on the internet.
